Year 10 students are already thinking about their career options and which subjects they need to choose for a particular pathway.
ÁñÁ«ÊÓƵ»ÆƬ conducts course counselling firstly through our Year 10 Empower classes. We continue to guide, support and build the confidence and resilience of our students to ensure they successfully complete their college education. Our students’ pathway to Year 11 &12 is Guilford Young College.
This week, on Wednesday 13 June our Year 10 cohort attended the annual Pathways Expo at GYC’s Glenorchy campus to explore the various academic and VET courses available at Guilford Young College.
Yesterday, our Year 10 students were warmly greeted by a team of teachers from GYC as part of their preliminary course counselling. This was a follow up visit from the Expo on Wednesday, so that one-on-one assistance with subject selections and course information could be provided.
