Working with children registration for volunteers
ÁñÁ«ÊÓƵ»ÆƬ is very grateful to those who generously support the College by volunteering their time with the many activities and programs within the ÁñÁ«ÊÓƵ»ÆƬ community.
Under Tasmanian State Government legislation, all parents and volunteers currently working or wanting to work in a voluntary capacity in child education services such as ÁñÁ«ÊÓƵ»ÆƬ, are required to obtain and hold a Working with Vulnerable People (WWVP) Card, also known as the Working with Children Card (WWCC).
Applications for registration are made through the Tasmanian Department of Justice ( ) and all registrations need to be finalised before volunteer work can commence. Registration will remain valid for three years unless otherwise revoked by the Department of Justice.
The College understands this will affect a large number of people and we will assist in any way we can. The cost of obtaining WWVP registration will be fully reimbursed by the College for any approved volunteer positions. All reimbursements will be processed by College Administration and made via cheque or direct deposit.
