The sense of achievement on all student’s faces when they reached their destinations is the reason why we do what we do.
Over the two Adventure Recreation camps these destinations included Cape Hauy, Cape Raoul, Cape Pillar, Shipsterns Bluff and Fortescue Bay.
The students spent most of Term 2 experiencing Tasmania’s wilderness before planning and running this camp.
Students had to plan their own meals and cook on camp stoves in testing conditions.
They also got to share reflection time around the camp fire before the marshmallows and smores filled them up.
A beautiful place, experienced by those who got to grow as people and will talk about it for many years to come.
