Reunions and College visits update

Are you from the Year 10 classes of 1980, 1990, 2000 or 2010? Or the Savio and Holy Name Year 10 classes of 1970?

At ÁñÁ«ÊÓƵ»ÆƬ we try to hold reunions for classes each ten years. During 2020 we would normally host reunions for the Year 10 classes from 1970, 1980, 1990, 2000 and 2010. Most of these were planned and set up early this year and you can view details of who to contact here: Reunions details.

With the pandemic restrictions since March, we had to put our plans on hold, especially since the school had to comply with additional measures requested by the State Government, the Catholic Education system and our own Board.

Those restrictions precluded visits on site by non-staff and students. General venue restrictions also made it more difficult for old scholars to travel to attend an event with their friends from school.

It is very unlikely reunions can be held at school until September at least, but if you check closer to the event we will update the details and plans available.

However, in July we have received permission to begin inviting ex-students back, outside school hours for reunions or visits. It will take some time for organisers to be intouch with their peers to sort out new dates though! Deciding the date is usually the hardest job!

In the meanwhile you can email the Old Scholars Coordinator to flag your interest, or email the reunion organiser, or join the Facebook group associated with each reunion. See the links here: Reunions.

Would you like to visit the school, by yourself, with friends or family? Contact Mark Dillon, the Old Scholars Coordinator, on oldscholars@dominic.tas.edu.au and we will sort out the right time for a visit.
