Relay for Life challenge

Every two years ÁñÁ«ÊÓƵ»ÆƬ staff and students are involved in the Relay for Life.

The Relay for Life is a fundraiser to raise money and remember those people who are affected by cancer. It is an overnight walk held at the Domain Athletics Centre.

Many people in our community are affected by cancer and that is why this is such a special event. The walk goes from 2pm on Saturday 25 March to 10am on Sunday 26 March. Teams are expected to have people walking around the track for every minute of the 20 hours.

In 2015, ÁñÁ«ÊÓƵ»ÆƬ had their first team. We hoped to have 50 students involved, to fundraise around $1000. In the end, we had over 100 students involved and raised over $4000. This was one of the most impressive results in southern Tasmania.

As an added bonus, students who are involved earn points towards the Mission Shield for Community Service. Families are invited to donate or join our team.
