Tuesday was Shrove Tuesday, and that means pancakes!
Shrove Tuesday is a feast with ancient roots. The term shrove comes from the English word shrive – to confess one's sins.
Pancakes are traditionally eaten on this day as something delicious before the season of Lent. On Tuesday, pancakes were sold, with jam or syrup for just $1.
Thanks students, families and staff for supporting this delicious fundraiser for our sister Salesian school in Samoa. Over $200 was raised. Well done!
