Play Me, I’m yoursis an artwork by British artwork, Luke Jerram. Located in streets, public parks and train stations, the pianos are available for everyone to play and enjoy.
We are including a specially decorated piano as part of the set for our production of MUCH ADO ABOUT NOTHING.
Ms Durbridge has been charged with creating a 1960s style design for our piano and after the production ends, the piano will find a home, somewhere in a public space at the College for students to play, enjoy and share a love of music and the visual arts.
With the undercoats completed Ms Durbridge has been looking at classic 60s graphic design to find an eye catching finish that will occupy centre stage.
The 1960s theme is featured in the costumes and the music, to be played by a live rock band featuring the classic girl groups numbers. Zoe Watson, Matilda McGovern and Libby Baker are enjoying the 60s style.
Tickets are going fast so book your free tickets for Thursday 30 or Friday 31 August at the Peacock Theatre, Salamanca Arts Centre.
