Last Friday 24 November, we held our second annual Gameathon at Dominic College based in the Savio Hub and spreading out to surrounding classrooms.
The Gameathon was a charity gaming evening where students brought in their gaming consoles and played them together with other students in a relaxed and enjoyable atmosphere. The students paid a small entry fee and we were able to raise over $200 for our St. Vincent de Paul’s charity.
The night culminated in a banquet of pizzas and a grand final showdown between Mr. Sullivan, our former IT specialist, and Blake Appleby and Sarah Hawkins.
Sarah and Blake took first prize. Other special moments included Georgia Amos challenging Ms Gilligan to sing Abba, and our very own resident DJ, Texmo, aka Lachlan Revell, spinning up some hits on the decks. We intend to the run the Gameathon again next year so make sure that you come along, have a great time and support a worthy cause.
