The DOSA Football Club Best & Fairest 2018 Awards dinner, held Friday 12 October at the North Hobart Bowls Club, was a very special night of celebration for the players in the premiership winning reserves and seniors sides, as well as the families, WAGS, supporters and old-timers of the club.
Speeches from successful coaches, Aaron Davey (reserves) and Jake Briggs (seniors) congratulated the teams on standing up and turning the season around with outstanding grit and successful team strategy and commitment.
Outgoing President Luke Golding congratulated the hard work of the volunteers and was confident the future of the club was set up for ten or twenty years with outstanding young players under development and a generation of older players moving into coaching and committee work.
