Dominican Feast Day 2018

On Wednesday our students and staff celebrated the Dominic Feast Day commemorating our Dominican patron saints St Catherine of Siena and St Dominic Guzman.

The College was bustling with activities starting with buddy activities in K-6 and the Amazing Race in 7-10. We then all gathered in the Savio to celebrate Mass as a community, followed by a delicious lunch comprising of freshly made salad rolls and a lolly pop.

The day ended with our Kinder to Year 2 students playing games and enjoying activities in their classes, while our Year 3-6 students gathered in the Oratory Space for a Theatre Sports extravaganza. Year 7-10 students continued to impress with their Dominic’s Got Talent performances starting with a Year 7 Lip Sync Battle, followed by a range of individual and group performances. The day ended with all house groups involved in a singing competition.

The day was filled with community spirit and I congratulate all students on their positive participation in all activities.
