ÁñÁ«ÊÓƵ»ÆƬ students in ANZAC Day commemorations

ÁñÁ«ÊÓƵ»ÆƬ students, staff, families and old scholars particpated in community services across Tasmania on ANZAC Day morning.

Students marched behind ÁñÁ«ÊÓƵ»ÆƬ banners and laid wreaths in services at Pontville, Lenah Valley, Hobart, Glenorchy and New Norfolk.

ÁñÁ«ÊÓƵ»ÆƬ Principal, Ms Gilligan, who attended the New Norfolk ceremonies with over 30 students, said she was impressed with the dedication of our students.

'All students, from youngest to oldest, were respectful and solemn. They looked terrific and were excellent representatives of our College in their community.

'Year 10 students, Billy Davidson and Madison Shaw did a great job carrying the flags. And our youngest students were impressive, too. Our contingent was the largest and most dominant of all the schools represented, and RSL organisers told me they were impressed once more this year.'

Ms Gilligan thanked everyone who participated in these important ritual ceremonies.
