The Da Vinci Decathlon is an academic competition designed to challenge and stimulate the minds of school students. The Decathlon competition places a particular emphasis on higher order thinking skills, problem solving and creativity.
Our Dominic team joined other school teams from Hobart in the Nettlefold Library, in Sandy Bay on Thursday 11 April.
Students competed in terms of eight across 10 disciplines: engineering, mathematics, code breaking, art and poetry, science, English, creative producers, cartography and general knowledge.
This was a challenging and stimulating competition and we'll share an account of the day from our students in our first newsletter in Term 2.
