Two after-school programs to commence 27 February
Years 3-6 After-School Drama Workshop
Is your child interested in Drama?
Here’s a chance for them to explore the possibilities through a non-threatening, inclusive activity based introduction to performance. Drama is great way to build group dynamic skills, communication, problem-solving and build self-confidence.
An after school session will run in each semester. Performance would be a central focus for the second semester after building a range of drama skills in Semester 1. Students who have taken part in session one will have the option to proceed into the second session.
Sessions will run for 1 hour each week on Wednesdays from 3.30pm – 4.30pm in the Little Theatre.
Numbers are purposely kept small to intensify the experience. In anticipation, a waiting list will be kept should places become available. The first workshop will be held on 27 February.

Years 7-10 After-School Art
Also resuming on 27 February will be the ever popular ‘After School Art Program.’ In this program students are free to come into the Fra Angelica art rooms and explore and extend their own creative projects.
Students who have art projects already on the go can come along and work alongside others and have access to materials and equipment with the supervision and advice from our Art teachers, Mrs Jeffery and Ms Durbridge.
Students are also welcome if they do not do Art at school but would love the opportunity to spend some time being visually creative. It is a welcoming, encouraging and inspiring session that is bound to generate some wonderful artwork.
These sessions run from 3.30pm until 5.00pm. Contact Ms Durbridge, adurbridge@dominic.tas.edu.au or Mrs Jeffrey, jjeffery@dominic.tas.edu.au
